Thats my take.
Given the fact that BB seems to be the only one that doesn't have a new tablet or a PC (third screen), it is no surprise that its Q1 2013 results were lower than market expectation.
But, can cross platform BBM services save BlackBerry?

i love the app integration on a bb. ive used both platforms. and bis just elevated that integration to the next level. i have the apple now but if there was a BB with a decent camera at the time i would have gone with it again probably. the restrictions with an apple makes it so kark. no usb mass storage option is fsucking stupid. in this day and age. what the hell are they scared of? for a power user the apple is just kark. if it wasnt for the camera i wouldve sold it long ago.
im used messing with my phone. now its just used for what it was made for. my bb was always at hand but this apple lays unattended for long stretches at a time at home. my wife fsucking loves it cos im never using my phone![]()
BB10 is not bad, I had a look at it. It need more apps but its pretty decent. Most people don't even use Android to its full potential so despite it being "Better" I don't think that the majority of users will see those benefits.
BB's current failure was not putting BB10 on the Playbook, looks like its never going to happen.
Agree, but if I compare even the basic features on a BB vs that of an Android, Android still comes out tops. Add to that, with Android I can choose S4, Xperia Z, HTC One, the list goes on. With BB, I have no choice.
BlackBerry is currently testing a new product in BBM called BBM Channels.
BBM channels will be a new social networking platform within BBM.
When a brand, celeb or person you follow post some thing. You will notified as soon as they post it.
The public can interact directly with them, view comments from other folllowers etc.
Each BBM user can also create their own channels and search for other channels.
10 Billion BBM are sent daily.50 percent of them are read in 20 seconds.
BBM channel will be a good platform for advsertiser etc.
Visit www.BlackBerry.com/BBM/channels for more details.
If you look at the BlackBerry 10 UI.The UI gives mulitasking experience like a PC.
So why do you need a tablet when you can have just one device .
You can project the phone on to a projector or monitor with HDMI cable or wireless.
Sounds like Twitter and Facebook with another label...no?BlackBerry is currently testing a new product in BBM called BBM Channels.

Well the multitasking on a Android is better than BB10 there's not much of a learning curve. Big deal with the projection stuff iOS and Android could do that for yearsTahir Ally;[B said:If you look at the BlackBerry 10 UI.The UI gives mulitasking experience like a PC.

Q: Why do BBM users send more messages than people using other smartphones?10 Billion BBM are sent daily.50 percent of them are read in 20 seconds.
They didn't differentiate themselves from the competition that's what killed them on BB10BB10 is not bad, I had a look at it. It need more apps but its pretty decent. I am still trying to work out how my S4 is superior to my BB9800, besides the HD screen and better camera. Seriously, I had the same functionality with my BB?
Z10 with the S4 or do you want to compare the OS, because those are different things entirely.
Now I am convince, BB is the future.Check this link below.BlackBerry10 is not used just for phones.
