Blackburn Rovers

I'll put imaginary, non existent internet money on it; Blackburn Rovers are getting relegated this season. They are in trouble. I've been watching Premiership football since I was 7/8 and the bad luck they had against Everton on the weekend - two missed penalties and one late penalty conceded - are all hallmarks of a relegation team, no luck.

And this may be a little harsh and cynical but their treatment and sacking of Sam Alladyce last season makes me feel they deserve to be relegated. He had them going well, mid table, but they gave him the sack and they ultimately saved themselves on the last day of the season.

good call thestaggy ;)

Blackburn going right down, and cant say its not deserved, they've hardly tried to stay up

cya bbr

GOING DOWN GOING DOWN GOING DOWN!!! GOING DOWN GOING DOWN GOING DOWN!!!!

:D

Blackburn should never have sold out to Indians that have no clue about Football as a business.

The Venkats were bad news and should GTFO now together with Kean.

What did I say? Almost certain to go down.

I'll laugh if Big Sam Allardyce pulls West Ham into the Premier League via the playoffs. Should NEVER have sacked him.

Now that would be fun. Big Sam back were he belongs. :p

I seems they won the first leg of the play-off 0-2 so they already have one leg in the final.

unbelievable. what an awful 18 months of ownership. some people have more money than sense..

Meanwhile, Sam Allardyce's Hammers trounced Cardiff City 5-0 on aggregate and have booked their spot in the Championship play-off final. . .

Simply no cohesion at Blackburn, from management down to the players, there is just no spirit or desire left to perform.

I can't seem them coming back to the EPL soon.

Probably will go the Portsmouth route !

Been reading rumours that the Venky's didn't even know that clubs could be relegated from the Premier League.

When they took over they also fired most of the existing management and tried to run the club on their own. They obviously failed and they aren't going to sell. Blackburn will drop out of the championship next season, they need unity and that is something they really don't have.

They will surely lose some of their best players. Can't see Hoillet, N'zonzi, Yakubu staying.

No doubt they'll lose their best players, but it can be done. Birmingham went down in an even worse state last season - they nearly went into administration and had to sell off any player that had good market value - yet they made the playoffs. Blackpool lost some of their top players as well - including their playmaker Charlie Adams - and will be facing West Ham in the playoff final.

All depends on the owners. Are they going to hang around or leave the club in a lurch? Are they going to let people with footballing brains run the show? And whether they sack Kean or not. I don't think he's a legit manager and I cannot believe they stuck with him. Kean also harmed fan support and Blackburn were struggling to pull crowds as it was, now they're in the Championship and have a manager the fans detest.

It all depends on whether the Venky's pull their heads out of their you-know-wheres, hire a proper manager and stop interfering. They should be able to provide Blackburn with a very competitive budget for the Championship, even though they're gonna struggle to pull fans. Portsmouth's troubles were down to two administrations in the space of two years and the result was a massively depleted & uncompetitive squad by Championship standards.

WOW! If this is the case Blackburn could be in trouble. These cats may pull a runner and leave the club with it's pants down.
