Does anybody know where I can buy an authenticator locally, either from a private seller or online. It does not matter to me, but I would like it to be above board and reasonably well priced.

The reason for this is that I have a mobile authenticator, but my phone has started giving me issues lately and I don't think it will last.

Emulate your phone's OS. I run Android OS and run apps on it flawlessly, maybe a little slow, but cheaper :>

I would prefer the actual authenticator device as I have 2 World of Warcraft accounts that are linked to my Battlenet Account. The one I play and the other is for my fiance'. The problem now though is that when I go to work, I have to phone and give her the code whenever she wants to login. The device would solve this problem.

I am not sure if you can still have more than 1 account used by the same authenticator, I know this changed after the hackers started adding the same authenticator to multiple accounts.

You can and I have been using this method (one authenticator, multiple wow accounts) since you connect it to your battlenet account and not the individual wow account. The same authenticator works for SC2 as well

Look at Winauth ( Google will help you ) - I use it to keep my peace of mind incase my phone dies, phone and Winauth can both generate valid login codes if you set it up right. ( easy to do if you use Android )

Depends on his price, I used wantitall which is fairly expensive but at least you get it.

I can vouch that you get what you ordered with Wantitall. I haven't bought an authenticator with them, but some anime dvd's not available in SA. I think the reason they are as expensive with the authenticator's is that they aren't buying directly from Blizzard, but through a 3rd party.

Just one thing though. Wanitall imports from the US, and the authenticators that they list seems to be US specific. I'm not sure if they will work with an EU account.

I bought mine from Wantitall and it works on my EU account.

As for insanely expensive, at the time for me it was fair since my account was hacked (and I am someone who is quite secure on most stuff, except my gmail account got compromised) and for the convenience of not going through that again it was fine.

I believe they get their authenticators from Amazon.

Either way, you guys are welcome to use getit2sa.

afaik they will deliver anything you order, but they will point blank not deliver it through the post office because of the extremely high incidences of theft. so courier only, and that aint cheap
