Yeah. I was also thinking that. Apparently I can ask the service provider to rotate the IP address on Monday and that might help.

if you want a new ip, usually good enough to power off/on the modem.

thats not the issue here though.

Few possibilities;

your computer backdoored / hacked
account hacked (although given the other issues, i suspect more than that).
other equipment on your network hacked
router hacked

What router do you own? If you let us know the model / brand, we can check if its a commonly backdoored one.

Otherwise, change all passwords (from a separate network, on another computer).
Then try find out what has been compromised in your existing equipment / network.

I'm taking a course at the moment it's run through an FB group. So even a fake account would let me finish the course...

What course are you taking that requires you to use Facebook groups to take part in it?

Am I the only person who thinks it odd that this is even a thing?
