Blocking porn through router

Dear OP. I presume this is to do with your children?
If they're teenagers, you need to have already embarked on decent sex-ed with them and taken away some of the temptation. Blocking every site is futile, there's too many workarounds and too many new sites popping out faster than one can blink an eyelid
Maybe it's to keep them on their toes and figure out the work arounds for themselves. Keep their minds in tune during the lockdown period

Have you tried this

Works really well

Malware and Adult Content
Primary DNS: 1.1.1.3
Secondary DNS: 1.0.0.3

For IPv6 use:
Malware and Adult Content
Primary DNS: 2606:4700:4700::1113
Secondary DNS: 2606:4700:4700::1003

Give the kid one month with a paid Brazzers account. Then take it away. He won’t be able to watch free porn after that.
Really? I'm really struggling to find the difference between the paid stuff vs what's free.

So limiting their access to porn will mess their sexuality?

Never heard such rubbish in my life.
No, making it into a sneaky game where they are constantly hiding stuff from you and lying about it.

Its not an easy thing but its always going to be better to have the kind of relationship where they will talk to you and not hide things. Ultimately you need to get to the point where they know there are no restrictions but understand that there are places they should not go.

I know this sounds weird but at certain ages perhaps its even ok for them to have places where they could (safely) have access to something that meets their needs.

I run pfsense with pfblockerng and this is exactly what i do. Force users to use PF as their DNS.

Each to their own but I don't think it's a good idea to make an issue of sex where teenagers are involved. They're curious and exploring their sexuality.

A bit of porn never hurt anybody.

Agreed completely. But if your teen is on the Hub every day then you have a problem on your hands. Once it becomes habit it can start negatively affecting their behaviour and the way they view women and sex.

But the solution is communication, not policing them.

Co-watch basic instinct and teach them sex kills
