The AFCON is on SABC and the AC MILAN vs JUVENTUS was supposed to be on Supersport 3. Why does multichoice decide to show us a match that we can see on an alternate channel on SABC?
I downgraded my DSTV Premium to DSTV Compact to save R300 a month, but it doest seem as if the Compact subscribers are taken care of in any way.

We only get SS3 and ESPN and sometimes they show the same champions league matches as what ETV shows on wednesdays on SS3, unfair again..

What happens to car fans?
No ignition channel on compact
No Top Gear on Compact
No Formula 1 on Compact

Rather let us choose our channels and pay per channel.

They want you to regret downgrading.

Compact was pitched to appeal to the "emerging" middle class and that class doesn't care for Formula and such things. I think compact subscribers should count themselves lucky they even get SS3. The package is for mainly PSL fans & people who appreciate like to watch Africa Magic.

LOL. You sound like you enjoy that channel.

When I watch a movie I scrutinise even the acting (which is why I don't watch Generations), so you can imagine how I feel about Africa Magic's implausible story lines, bad acting, etc. I think all they are missing on those movies is the naked people, those plots come from pr0n.

What storyline?

Watching a guy smoke a cigarette unedited.
Watching some idiot in a car drive from one place to another...unedited.

while i would agree with the crapness of multichoice, but did their information regarding the package lead you to believe that these were things you would be getting?

I agree with Milo here.......

You knew from the outset what you would be getting with DSTV Compact so it's a little late to complain.

However, I also agree with Mr.C in that MC should consider the plausibility of pay-per-channel package. Even if it means that they slap on a separate bouquet as well at an added cost.

For instance, let us choose between a default "BBC Package" (All BBC Channels), "News Package" (All News Channels) or "Sport Package" (All Sports Channels) at a set cost of, say R200 per month and then charge an extra R20 or R30 per channel thereafter and allow us to choose our own.

It will never happen! Just imagine what the cost of MNET alone is!

Anyways! There is a reason why they Sell Compact and Make sure that you can see what else you are missing!

And Downgrading from a Full Bouquet to Compact is Torture ... Unless you absolutely have to, you should not do it!

I feel you! And the sad thing is, these people really believe that they are acting!

And why is it that the Volume is so high on these channel.
