Yeah...that's not going to happen, not in this country.
You're going to have to buy off of Amazon or Newegg.
Would prefer not to import stuff like this. Just checked newegg, doesn't look like they ship to SA. SA is missing from their site.

Oh wtf, newegg doesn't ship anymore? That sucks.
I guess they stopped it since then.

Practically new and probably only played less than 5 discs. Just trying to find the remote. Was going to take it to Cash Crusaders to see what they would give me for it.

Yup there are a few African countries but SA isn't one of them. The others are all greyed out though so I guess they're not shipping to anywhere in Africa rn

I have a massive dvd/bluray movie collection as well, looking to rip to HDD so that I can get rid of the physical discs.

Just need to get decent ripping software. Any suggestions?
Ripping will not be the same, Quality will be lost.

Where can I still find brand new, never been used blu-ray players for under R2000? Mine stopped working so I need a new affordable one. Preferrably Sony, Samsung or LG. :)

The only ones I can find online are refurbished and I don't think I want something that's been tampered with. Thanks.

If it stopped working recently it probably due to the date bug that's going around, samsung should post a fix shortly.

Dont throw it away.

Nah it started to give problems a couple of years ago already. Couldn't read some discs, couldn't open unless I gave it a klap, some movies froze, it would open and close non stop by itself sometimes etc etc until it finally died completely :D Should've bought a new one ages ago.

Also it's not a Samsung.
