Blu-ray Xbox 360 Planned By Microsoft

2. No, because that's not the terms and conditions of use. It's licensed to me, so if a friends wants to play it with me I need to be present (sign in on my account) While that may seem alien because we're used to the media being the key, it's actually correct according to the law and license..

Just hope that nothing happens to your Gamertag and Microsoft takes forever to maybe fix it. Otherwise you have to create a new profile and their goes all your movies, etc.

Just in, chances of a 360 BD drive? zero to none to pratically nothing ;)

"We have no plans to announce anything like that right now. But I'd also urge you to look at the attach rate for the HD-DVD drive,"..."It was a 3 percent attach rate...you also have to take into account how did the other accessory do when you look at the future."

Aaaaaaah crap. Time to start saving for a standalone BR player. Fortunately I have space in my cabinet.

Call me old fashion but I still like having a physical copy of the movies I buy. How much is downloading movies going to cost in bandwidth? It's a good idea...in a country where you're not paying through your nose for bandwidth.

I also get a kick out of having racks of discs on display, but now with kids I much prefer having the stuff online, simply there's no discs to lose to break, and there's instant access at any point in the house (PC/360)
