Good Morning

I recently acquired a set of stainless steel pots. One of my pots now has these blue marks in it after the first use while the other doesn't. I'm not sure what caused it. I've found similar results on google and there are varying explanations on what causes this and how to treat it.

Has anything worked for you in removing these blue stains?

Edit: I meant "blue stains" not "blu stains", that would be an entirely different topic :erm:

Why did you cook those smurfs? :(

It is not a stain, it is the tempered metal, from being heated

It will never come off.

Try some steel-wool and green sunlight soap.

And stop playing with your pots! They grow blu stains!

White spirit vinegar might help. Just dilute some with water and rub on with a sponge. Then rinse and dry.
If that doesn't work make a paste with a few table spoons of bicarb(and water) and scour the inside of your pot
