Besides the unpleasantness of an accident, and the resulting chaos caused for people trying to get home yesterday, I did have to smile at the irony of a taxi colliding with a blue light convoy near Wits.

Lol ironic indeed! So who owns the road...the taxis or the BLC? :p

An eyewitness said that there was a lot of aggression - the cops had guns out and forced the taxi driver to the floor. I had heard it was the Dep Pres. And the plods were getting shirty about journalists taking pictures.
 
Rumour has it that it was the deputy president in the convoy.
