Blue Origin resumes space tourism

I also had the rare privilege of sitting in the jump seat of a Boeing 747-200 simulator during a training session in the mid-1980s, when I was part of an organised visit to SAAT at Jan Smuts International Airport - so now I am a fully qualified airline pilot - with thousands of hours on MS Flight Simulator as an added bonus... 😛 ✈️

They spent 220 days on board the International Space Station (ISS), orbiting the Earth 3,520 times, the US space agency Nasa said.

For Pettit - who has now spent a total of 590 days in space - it was his fourth mission.

This is so stupid. The door opens from both the inside and outside on this capsule.

They were travelling around 8-9 times slower than an orbital mission hence the lack of re-entry burn marks. 3300kmph vs 28500kmph.

This whole thing is a PR joke. But it's not fake. It's just a joyride these celebs tried to use for clout. It's an embarrassment to female astronauts.
