Bluetooth Device pairing

I have a bluetooth transmitter dongle that plugs into the audio out port of my hi-fi system, and also a wireless bluetooth speaker.

The problem I have is that to pair the transmitter, it asks to press the button to begin pairing, then enter "0000" on the other device to pair, AND the wireless speaker also asks to press a button to begin pairing, then enter "0000" on the other device to pair...

So if neither of these devices have keypads, yet both require the other device to enter a bluetooth PIN, is there any way to pair these devices to each other?

So far I can get both of them to pair perfectly to my phone, but that's not the point - I'd like the transmitter to pair to the wireless speaker to send music from the hi-fi to there.

Any suggestions?

Try to pair it by plugging transmitter to PC. This is assuming that paired information is stored permanently on dongle (not on PC). After pairing is complete, move dongle to hifi.
