Does anyone use a bluetooth keyboard with a tablet, and if so, would you recommend it?

I need something I can use with terminal sessions - I don't feel like lugging my laptop around everywhere, and on-screen keyboards are a pain in the arse.

Added bonus is if it has a track pad.

(tab is a Samsung S2)

Whatever you do don't get those ones with the rubber keys - the worse keyboard ever.

Indeed. I've found most bluetooth keyboards don't handle fast typing so well - although that said, the Microsoft Universal Mobile one that was on special at (Loot iirc) is not that bad, otherwise using an OTG cable with your favourite keyboard might be another option.

Perhaps one of the guys who got the special might be willing to sell you their one for closer to R400 if they're not using it.

Looks good.

Can you connect that and a BT mouse at the same time?

I can vouch for this keyboard. Excellent piece of hardware. Bought it when it was R299 on Loot a few months back. I use it on ipad, NUC media player, Samsung TV and Android TV box. Battery life also seems to be quite good obviously because of low power BT connection.

Ordered the K380 - would have liked the MS one, but not keen on issues.

Anyone have any views on this keyboard:https://m.takealot.com/#product?id=54366552?

I am looking for one which is not expensive which I can use with my phone (Xiaomi MI Max) when typing longer things and when I don't want to have to use the onscreen keyboard.
I have the older model with the trackpad
Would not recommend - pairing BT is always an issue between sessions
Also entering codes for Windows, Ios and Android use
I would go for the MS Keyboard

Thanks. Which MS one?
