Buying BMW 320D with 107000KM

hi Guys

What do you think about this advert? BMW 320d 2010 with 107 000Km on sale for R105000.

I have seen the vehicle but iam still wondering if there is a catch to the advert and I am sold on this one. The seller only deals in cash or eft transactions. The same advert appears on autotrader website.

It appears so. The seller seems like a regular and I understand that buying privately, the car will be voetstoots. My other option is to find one still on motor plan assuming that the bmw motorplan is transferrable in private sale

A 2010 320D with 107000km for R103k? That's a significant chunk under retail... it can easily go for the R160k+, the last time I checked (in that pricerange).

At the very least get a police clearance certificate and a settlement letter from the finance institution. Also take the car to Dekra.

That price is too low! I've got 2 potential buyers already for mine since I put up an advert on Saturday... I've seen that car there for a few weeks and it should be gone by now. I suggest to steer clear!

The car has been there for sometime. That is why I thought I would seek advice. The guy had another one which was 320i 2010 with 78000km on the clock still on motorplan. He says its gone.

I have seen a couple of these ads have been wondering. this dude has many ads.

Just take the vin number from the license disk on the window, you can phone BMW right there and find out what is the history of the car.

If he do not want you to do that I would even go as far to involve the cops then.
