BMW Belt Service

Does any one know when the schedule for a BMW belt service is? Is the covered by the motorplan?

BMW uses timing chain for years now.

No need to service it, depending on car it might have to be replaced at certain age.

Motorplan will cover it, if it fails.

As above, no belts. It is supposed to be a lifetime part.

Chains are sometimes susceptible to stretching. They'd obviously cover that, but then again they might need to replace the whole engine as that could cause total engine failure.
