Un amplified and 6 speakers is just not what I would expect from a luxury vehicle these days...

Personally I’m of the opinion the more speakers they force in there the crapper it gets.

Not only do they use smaller drivers but the sound stage just gets muddies.

Often less is more.

I don't disagree... The next package up is 8 speakers but it's run through and Amp... Sounds infinitely better.

Much beyond that is retarded in my opinion.

Nothing atop the dash, just storage. The place where the iDrive controller would sit is just hallowed out storage.

My F30 had iDrive obviously but honestly it was super clunky, the software / interface was prettty shocking in the first F30 / F20s before the 2015 LCI
