BMW performance power kit

i had my 335i chipped for R5000.00 its now pushing 285kw with around 490nm i tell you it really scares me at time especially when the 2nd turbo kicks in and you hear the whistling lol.... so ja in my opinion that 24k to get 15kw is not rally worth it

Ye but what about chipping it after this upgrade from BM... theres some hardware changes....
Personally I dont mind messing with the VW warranty, but to chance the BM motorplan mmmm

Dont think its a bad option, considering resale/peace of mind...but;

If given the choice again I would rather have chosen the manual; even though I chose the 7speed semi-automatic double clutch transmission...its just not the same ito control...Also dont get me started on the turbo lag (I dont care how small they say it is, to me it feels like an eternity), there is just no comparison with a //M NA high rev engine

This thread is SUPER old, but I recently had the BMW Diesel Power Kit installed on my 320d LCI and I had to add my 2 cents. It made a massive difference to my car. The power increase BMW claims are not huge, but the changes the kit makes are definitely not limited to those numbers alone. I can rewrite my whole experience from scratch, but it will be easier if you just read what I had to say about it here: http://showcars.co.za/bmw/bmw-performance-diesel-power-upgrade-review/

Normally, I'd take a jib at a thread necro but nice review, and the old / new parts really make it interesting and easy to follow. :)
