we can put in a tender on this awesome machine. :p

What we be a good price for this X5 ?

Looked at a functional one, 100K km, 2012 model for R360K last year Dec from a BMW dealer. I'd say R100K for that one
 
so, offer R50k ???
Fix prop shaft at R 30K maybe ??
battery R2k.
Sell for R300k

Yeah, I would offer below R100k, well below. Personally though, I wouldn't put in an offer tbh. What else is wrong with it?
Are these vehicles known for prop shaft/drive train problems? If not, was it abused?

Who knows ? if treated like a rental..... stay away i suppose.

Pretty sure that it's the transfer case that's poked. R30k should cover a repair, maybe double that for a new one.

I'd definitely not keep it, but I don't know about being able to sell it for R300. Private buyers don't usually have that kind of cash, and dealers offer very little if you're not buying something else from them.
