BMW

Which Porsche? 991 or pauper Porsche --> Boxter :p

Any Porsche is still a VW. The Audi R8 is velly nice...
Mercedes SL65AMG aswell.

Germans are kings.

Value for money... dunno, Japs are pretty good. That Nissan Skyline GT-R sure looks tempting. Toyota Supra also a good bet.

Funny no one I know in SA praises the GT-R, bloody hell that car is a beast within a beast. Don't like the styling but man that car is a Japanese Enzo. Can't wait for the V-Spec. Will outrun all other supercars in reverse :D

Forget all that you think you know. The GT-R hasn't just moved the goalposts, it's obliterated them.

I had a number of heart-in-mouth moments in the Turbo trying to keep up with the GT-R, even with the Porsche's suspension set to its harder 'sport' setting. It still seems soft, and there's a bouncy lack of balance in the way the suspension controls the body, and the way the big engine slung out the back threatens to swing round. By contrast, I never felt anything but natural solidity in the Nissan, adjustable and fluid.

Theres no BEST car, and BMW has its problems, like any (every) other manuf.

its a drivers car ...
it does give **** ...
is well engineered ...
notice with every new model coming out, they cut down on quality (this is the case with all manufacturers)

i still like my car

Blik met wiele? ha-ha-ha That will be the day! My 323i is tops!

lol... rrrriiigggghhhhttt... I hate it when the 323i driver's think their car is fast just because it's not a 2L and it's got a 330i body kit on... and then when I make them eat not just dust but also gravel, cats, dogs and all kinda little animals, they seem surprized... lol

Blik Met Wiele FTL!

The debates rages on: BMW fans (me) vs. REST OF THE WORLD!!

That's what I like 'bout BMW - they're so polarizing. You either love or hate 'em. I must concede run of the mill 3 is bit common (but so is C-class/A4). But just add an ///M....

I've never bought a car myself - so my opinion is mostly based on motoring magazines/passenger driving. I find Audi to be very clinical.

I think that any of the mentioned brands are top quality
