Boeber - Almost time

Kheer is made with rice. Boeber seems to be a combo of vermicelli and sago... Just need the papad
Why you insist on being wrong?
its kheer in India/Pakistan, might be boeber in Malaysia or a made up cape Malay name.
rest of us call it tapioca pudding.
The consistency is the difference, a set pudding or drinkable milkshake

Last I checked the term is not known in Malaysia. It is (like you say) a made-up Cape Malay term.

Kheer is very similar (I've had DBN Kheer extensively) but there is a difference, I cant recall exactly what it is lol

It’s all similar, Turkish use wheat instead of sago or rice. Whether you use wheat, rice or sago it’s called kheer in India and Pakistan.
those very dark Indians have their own, very very sweet and look like glue. They have different name for it.
The rest of Asia use palm sugar so it’s more like set pudding and has Chinese 5 spice.

The other stuff that is awesome is firni(not sure if spelt correctly)

boeber cannot come close to kheer...different ingredients but kheer is on another level

i cant do boeber ..tried it once and uh uh ..that boiled milk doesnt taste good to me
