Bok Team for Scotland Test.

Well we will see tomorrow how Mr Spies handles the game, I remember his form just before he got sick, and man he was an unstoppable tank

+1 I rate him highly, superb athlete, yes, tomorrow he must up his game considerably. I don't think he has regained the confidence/form post illness which is disappointing...

I'm a big Spies fan, that kid is an athlete of the highest calibre. He's been half the player though since his blood clot issues. I wonder what the issue is there?

I was also a great fan after seeing what he could do in that game against England before the WC, but that was it. It looked like we got ourselves a playmaker and loose forward, but all that has come to nothing...
I sure do hope he gets his game back on track

Flippin ref!!!
Not looking good at half time... northern hemisphere ref paid good money for a Scottish win

/me is disgusted ....... to win by 4 points against that team .... nah

I am worried about rugby as we know it! The RFU needs to do something about the standards of refereeing as a matter of urgency.

We had it throughout the Currie Cup and now we are having it during the internationals. More of the post match conversation revolves around the refereeing than the playing. This is not the way rugby should be.

The players do not know how to play according to what the referee wants. Even the Scottish captain was questioning his decisions. You cannot play rugby if you are "scared" of the referee!

Hell man that wasn't a good game of rugby by the Boks, Scots ,once again helped by a ref showing bias, were in the game till the final whistle, horrible, horrible, horrible...

Not sure where it went wrong, line outs were solid and the early departure of Bismarck put our scrums under a little bit of pressure but they held there own so where did we come unstuck. Once again we weren't able to hold on to possession through enough phases of play and when we did we put the Scots under immense pressure but our finishing and some odd referring decisions put paid to our chances of scoring. 1st there was the scrum where we were a judged to be taking a step to the right before engaging and then there was Schalks cleaning out of the Scottish player, 2 situations were we could very well have scored from... Bummer!!! Anyway next week England. Lets hope we get a bit of our own back in terms of the 50/50 calls cause at the moment it's 70/30 against!!!!

Jon was reprimanded by the ref for questioning a decision, that's nonsense, the Captain has the right!!!! Anyway...

We came unstuck in the loose Sand as the ref was not allowing us to clean out! You cannot get the ball if you get penalised when you are cleaning out your own ball. Stand back at the rucks and mauls, in an attempt to not get on the wrong side of dodgy refereeing, and you are always going to have a tough time of it!

barring the ref (and that is very hard to say seeing as how much of an ass he was), if we play the same against England next week, we are going to be given an embarrassing hiding.

Yeah, I could go along with that. I must say I'm not a big fan of Juan, damn he is slow around the park but he got the man of the match so what do I know...

I thought when Ryan and Danie came on for Schalk and Pierre our defence went to pieces, too many cart horses in the loose as well as the other changes in the back line where we had 4 players playing out of position, we not helping ourselves, our defensive pattern in the last 10 was no where, we were stretched by a side not known for their try scoring attributes of late....

Anyhow rather not dwell on this game, a wins a win, let's get parity against England next week from a refereeing perspective and perhaps we can show our true worth...

Not implying Ryans a carthorse btw, far from it but Juan and Danie? Come on??!!!

I have lost complete faith in Kanko getting decent game time ...... someone influential obviously loves the "Me got ball, me run into other man and lose ball" style of Spies too much.

Agreed. That ref was worse than last week's one! Surely there are some better refs available.

There are... they are all Southern Hemisphere refs though!!

I think these European teams have a lucky edge every year with these year end tours as they get to play with "their" refs. I would love to see what would happen one year if all these end of year tour games for NZ, Aus and SA were played with Southern Hemisphere refs.... I am of course not insinuating the refs cheat but they referee the game totally differently. It is as if they are softer and they do not like the hard, aggressive rugby we play down here.
