Bookshops asking in $

Hi folks,

Some second hand online bookshops (like Chapter 1, in Orange Grove, Johannesburg) are asking prices in $. It's obviously to make more money on the product than paying in ZAR.

Isn't it illegal to ask in $ ?

I really like their selection, but feel cheated by paying in $.

Doubt it's legal, but the country is run by criminals so who would you turn to? Just consider the amount converted and then decide, IMO
