Borderlands 2 - Builds Thread

Im really enjoying this game, more and more as I get to grips with the various build options

what class are you playing? What build did you decide to go with?

I rolled a Siren because her phase-lock skill really appealed to me! Ive tried all sorts of different builds with her, and came across a really awesome sniper build with the assasin so I decided to roll him as well.

Im only lvl 15 at the moment, but Im already doing more damage (crit) than my lvl 22 Siren (also crit)

Im using a standard Jakobs sniper rifle, 186 damage, and Im getting just over 4000 damage on a crit I think my Siren is on about 2500 and thats 7 levels higher and a much better sniper rifle!!!

with 4000 damage I can kill anything in one shot... granted my aim is spot on!

I prefer Vladof sniper rifles for the clip size & fire rate. Managed to find an orange one at lvl 19 that does (if I remember right) 380 damage with 250% critical & about 40% fire damage and the shell splits into 3. I've been using it with pretty much all my characters & got my Mechromancer to level 40 with it, but its weak against all the bots near the end.

Are there other classes in the game? :twisted: Zer0 rawks - switching between lvl 50 sniping and melee builds depending on my mood.

Siren speced with Ruin. Everything else is just a bonus.

I read a review of the different bonuses you get from the different manufacturer of guns. Jakobs has the highest crit multiplier by FAR so I have been sticking with that... As my build stands Im getting a 21.5 multiplier on a crit
