Borderlands (Hamachi)

trying to get borderlands working on my hamachi network with my friends and struggled my ass off last night... still not working!

I have experience with it, and getting other games working, but this one I simply cant get to work... though this is the 1st time that Im doing it on Windows 7

any ideas?

all firewalls are off
"new network" (hamachi adapter) setup as home network (no restrictions)
hamachi adapter setup to the top of the priority list
ports forwarded in my router (confirmed working)

what else could there be in windows 7 that I am missing?

anyone else annoyed by the VOIP that YOU CANT DISABLE???

ensure you're all under the same initial IP for hamachi.

Had some issues running a...different copy of left4dead over hamachi.

All will need to have x.x.y.z as their format.

1) Why you trying it on Hamachi, just host a private game and invite your friends?

2) New patch announced today which lets you set individual volumes for othe rplayers and a mute function for them too.

on hamachi, have you set the default gateway to 5.0.0.1, also you might need to set the aliases for each person on the hamachi network (the latest version doesn't allow you to do this)

edit: and running different versions of the game can affect your ability to play as well.
