Anyone remember the later GG years at Arsenal? The years where they had a terrific backline and a hugely prolific scorer in Ian Wright? Anyone remember that chant "One Nil to the Arsenal"? Well... The reason I'm asking is because it seems United have gone down this route...

Rock solid defence and a prolific goalscorer in Ronaldo.

Do you guys reckon it will continue like this until Fergie retires (and let us be honest, it will happen sooner rather than later) or will he make another free scoring team before he decides to kick back to the Bahama's?

That was Mourinho's way with Chelsea. Both Graham's Arsenal and Fergie's United were highly attack minded before the creation of an unstoppable defence (the Arsenal famous Five, United's current VDS&Vidic combo - whihc worked until recently). The fact is that it's an over-reliance on a prolific scorer who you can be sure will always net a goal...
