I went through the Blackberry phase, with a ghastly 8520 Curve, to an Apple iPhone5, and got bored after a year, picked up a Chinese Android, found it refreshing but realised that the Koreans probably do Android better, grew bored and picked up a Nokia Win8 phone, which I'm still using, for the sheer quirkiness of it, and that leaves me to wonder, is there no alternative OS for smart phones? Why cant one get a clean Nokia Lumia and pick the OS one wants, and change it again afterwards? Or be able to get a Samsung S5 with the OS of your choice? Or even run 2x OS on one phone, with dual SIMS......why are we stuck with toys that are only initially interesting ......:)

You should try customizing the android. There's a lot you can do. I can run DS linux under limbo which is extremely slow but works. Also you can play arcade games and Real Racing 3 which btw is fantastic on a phone.

You can actually dual boot OS on cellphones you just dont know how to do it ...

Nokia were looking at doing dual boot android/wp phones recently.
I doubt it would happen as a normal android experience though.

Guess you are totally correct there, have no idea, but, why can one not get a smart phone and then select the OS you want? why are we shackled to what is pre-decided? I think an iPhone with Android would be marvelous, as would a Nokia Lumia with iOS7.....

The Ubuntu phone will be coming out shortly via their partner companies.

Because it will be more costly to support when the customer has any issues...

And don't forget to enquire about medicine for the ADHD :p

Don't forget about Firefox OS either. There is Tizen as well, and Meego as well. Things are starting to heat up a bit now.
