Hi Peeps

Where can I get one of these or something like this. I need to clean out computer cases from dust and all sorts.

I mean R900!!!! Is there no other brand name or device that can do the same thing?

If they are direct like they claim to be, that may be the best price. You may want to find a large hardware store and look there.

I bought a slightly damaged compressor off the sale table at builders warehouse a couple of years back for R600 that we use for everything from driving pneumatic tools, pumping up tyres and the kids paddling pools, and cleaning out computers. Even new they can probably be had for about the same amount as this Bosch blower.

I tend to agree with that. Maybe buying a compressor would give you more flexibility as you can use it for much more than just a blower. Another thing I'm concerned about is the amount of static you might create with a blower? Not the best for a PC.

You can get a 1700W vacuum cleaner for less that can suck AND blow. Would achieve the same I think?

Blowers create cold air not hot. Hairdryers are a bad idea due to the heat creating static....

At builder's there are cheaper models, we have a R399 orange colour one thats damn powerful, use it for blowing leaves and vacuuming stray lawn clippings.

I picked up a Makitec for R397. It has variable speed control and a thick soft rubber nose. It works like a charm. The sense of satisfaction it gives is priceless. A rats nest for a pc case, spotless in 1 minute!

Makitec is actually Makita.

Pull that Makitec label off and you'll see Makita underneath. good buy.

Look out for the pro-toll series blower at hyperama stores.

They are cheap quality, but at R120 they really blow.

Not sure if all the hyperama's stock them though.

That Makitec blower is really nice though!
