Hi

About 8 days ago we lost our catchup and box office connectivity. Pressing either the box office or catchup menu comes up with the message: not yet available in your country.

I have contacted the Dstv call center 5 times who say that all they know is that the technicians are working on the problem and they have no more updates on the matter. One operator told me that thousands of users have this problem. If this is so then i cannot understand why there is no outcry on the matter and that googling and the Dstv forum makes no mention of the matter.
We have asked about 10 random people who say theirs are working.
The local Multichoice agents say they know of the problem but are also in the dark

Is anyone else experiencing the same problem or know anything about it ?
There is absolutely no communication about this from Dstv to users !

Also having the issue... since Friday past (03/08).
Numerous calls to DSTV without any success from factory resetting to unplug/replug cables.
When I speak to some agents they know about the issue; others have no idea.
I am expecting a call (not holding by breath) from a team leader to explain to me the situation ...

Same problem here. Have taken the decoder into Multichoice. Could reproduce the issue there, so it's not an issue with my cabling. Reset factoring settings didn't solve it. Was told to wait a few days. So I suspect it's a software ****up.

Hi i rented a movie last night but couldn't finish watching it so i wake up this morning hoping to resume it and suddenly my box office amd catch up isn't available. And the rental only available for 48 hours so it's really frustrating.

Has anyone resolved this issue?

I have the exact same issue. When I click on Catch Up or Box Office it says "not available in your region". I am still able to watch normal TV and record programs.

Seeing this issue on a new explora ultra. Any suggestions

This self resolved after 6hrs or so. Guess the decoder had to download a ton of stuff via satellite
