Boxing

Maybe in the first round, maybe.... and I know loads of people will point to how tyson still hits a bag well etc
But thats not a fight, I cant see this going well and I think it may even be a bit sad.

I would want nothing more than him to drop paul, but it is not likely. I am going to hate if paul wins and he will go on about who he beat...i dont think he will even feel bad hitting someone close to pension age

Yeah this just reeks of an exhibition match with behind the scenes agreements in place.

The netflix thing is brilliant, I cant deny that. But that whole video is just ...gross. The fight is wrong, we all hope its going to go a certain way, it wont, and it is going to keep building this farce

Yip, that’s the hook. Only thing I wonder is does Mike, who doesn’t need the money, go off script and go for the KO?

You and I are in the same mind. This is an MVP promotion; it is Jake's own promotion which has partnered with the streaming-service to not only host, but promote the event. The event is controlled by promoters. Boxing as a sports business is being turned into entertainment. They are targeting a new audience, the content generation. It is big money where older promotions will simply become less valuable unless they adapt.

The thing is, these promotions are supported by big names in the industry. They put their mouths where the money is.

I can only hope that Tyson does not throw his legacy away.

All conjecture, but if there are clauses, im sure there will be very severe penalties as well then.
He may not need the money, but he probably wouldnt want a lawsuit or penalties either

It is what you would expect. Though I haven't seen someone folded like that in a bit. That was lights out instantly.

Some boxers get to the top to become professional confidence builders or marketers for others. Sometimes it’s nothing more than a quick buck. This was both.

Fury usyk, Joshua fury… not happening

And that is what should happen when an MMA fighter tries to step into the ring with a boxer. AJ clearly took this seriously and cleaned things up chop-chop.

Fury was an absolute embarrassment against Ngannou.

Felt for Ngannou watching that. His face showed the realisation after the first knock down.
Boxing != moering.
