So there have been a few single threads for some fights...

Lets rather keep them all in one place.

So lately the LW division divas showed how crap they are, Davis LOST to Cruz.
Haney, the supposed next big thing was poor against Diaz
Lets not even get into the joke that is TeoFemale lopez Jr and his dillousional father....

Thankfully this weekend we will see a real fight from a true fighter... Lomachenko Vs Commey...

Loma showed, despite a close loss (i had a draw) vs lopez why hes the best LW by beating Nakatani by TKO, a guy that Lopez struggled with and got a gift against.

This guy is on a mission to clean up this division, i have no doubt he will have the belts again soon and will be undisputed again before he retires.

I got Loma by TKO within the 1st 5 rounds

He could take his time, but i believe hes on a mission to show how good he really is. And hes also looking to show how much better than lopez he is.

Lopez KOd Commey in the 1st round when they fought, dont be surprised if Loma tries to top that.

Yup, he was pretty much a spectator in this fight. easily 12 0 to loma, maybe if you are being nice you could give one or two rounds to Commey, but thats being charitable

and notice how the supposed four queens of the LW division are quiet after that. Nobody wants that smoke

Cant see how this guy isnt P4P #1

I think so... although IMO these fights are fixed...

When i say fixed i dont mean that a dive will happen, but its not impossible that there could be clauses, that deal with dehydration, no KO, no head shots, etc.

You know... like Canelo's fights amoung others :p

I watched that post fight interview and it was cringe worthy. The things this guy says....:notworthy:
Besides for the unbelievable stupid things he says, He sends Dana White a message that he will embarrass the whole UFC roster. Why does he not climb into the octagon and put his money where his mouth is. Taking on wrestlers in a boxing match does not really say much does it...
Also seems like he is scared of taking the Silva boxing fight. Guess after what Silva did to Chavez Jr, Even the dom Jake knows he stands little to no chance.

Great knockout though.

No ways he will go near an octagon. Boxing is an easier sport to tilt the board on. We know this.

He'll get that knockout everytime and itll look good every time cos most MMA guys wont defend corectly against it. They instinctually try to defend a take down.

You fight the way you train, and i'd reckon that a lifetimes worth of takedown defence cant be easy to unlearn. esp on short notice.

Thats why hes boxing MMA guys and thats why he will keep fighting MMA guys, ESPECIALLY wrestlers. And also why he'll make plenty money doing it.
 
I see Kevin Lerena is doing his first title fight at Heavyweight on 26th Feb. After defending is IBO World cruiser title 6 times he is now challenging the Heavy division. Good luck to him. This fight is for the WBA intercontinental belt.

edit: let me just say that it may look a good fight on paper, both of these guys are past their best tho, and brook is actually a middleweight that said long ago that hes done with 147... and khan has no chin.

So if both of them are at their best, id say brook KOs khan easy. hes the bigger guy after all.

But hes only doing it for the money, only with a rehydration clause, who knows what else is in the contract. Same with the crawford fight. We didnt need to see that ****.

there are still some real ones out there, but for the most part its sharks

Not interested in boxing anymore. It's a dirty, corrupt sport and I was an avid boxing fan and was present at all the major fights in SA in the 90's. I had someone very close to me whom was very well connected and when he retired from his position on the Boxing Board and said enough is enough due to corruption my special treatment fell away as well. Haven't really watched or followed it since.
 
Sheesh. Even if Whyte looses he still pockets over R100M. Could retire on that comfortably if he does not blow it all as so many sportsmen do.

He'll probably only see 8-10% of the payout.

Nope because they have @sshole managers, negotiators, trainers, assistants etc like the pr1ck Don King that rape the boxers of the purses. A good example is Tyson.

All the promoters are snakes. Arum, Hayman, Eddie Hearn. Dont get me started on floyd and oscar... the whole lot of them.

Then the fighters are fricking pussies as well. Very few reall ones out there.

Usyk vs AJ 2 is looking like it will happen in May. Do IF no injuries, we could see undisputed by the end of the year or early 2023 ?
