IMANE KHELIF will not be allowed to compete at next week's Eindhoven Boxing Cup.

World Boxing are now set to implement mandatory sex testing for all athletes hoping to compete in their events.

A letter sent to the Algerian federation by World Boxing confirms: "Imane Khelif may not participate in the female category at the Eindhoven Box Cup, 5-10 June 2025 and any World Boxing event until Imane Khelif undergoes genetic sex screening in accordance with World Boxing's rules and testing procedures.

"In accordance with the World Boxing Statutes, amendments to the Competition Rules are typically made by Congress.

"However, under special or emergency circumstances, the World Boxing Executive Board holds the authority to make immediate amendments when a rule is deemed no longer functional or when evolving conditions necessitate a change."

KO
Du Bois gave up there
Usyk is undisputed

Not sure it was giving up. He was outclassed and that second knockdown was pretty solid. I mean, he could have tried to do what Joshua did and bounce around the ring getting battered, but the outcome very likely would have been the same.
That is assuming he could get up and move around properly.

I have been knocked down before in the ring, and although you can stand up and maybe even look ok, it was a very unpleasant experience, you feel slow, heavy as hell and very disorientated.

If it was in round 10, when they maybe were both exhausted and you are pushing through, maybe there is some merit to trying to force yourself to get up again and make it through 1 round and a half, but that early on, against someone who is likely going to swing like a truck for 6 more rounds, it borders on dangerous trying to keep going when you are that outmatched

I am feel, i am werry feel.

We are witnessing Usyk at his best... hes now fully grown into his heavyweight body i think and is showing his power. those left hands landed flush

you never want to rematch usyk, its a continuation of the 1st fight and never a new fight

head and shoulders best of his generation

He doesn't require "donkrag" when he's accurate.
Hes a right handed southpaw, that is an artform all on its own. His lead hand creates the openings for the cross.

but its clear that hes trained that back hand to make sure it delivers

Edit: He is, in my opinion, the one of greatest heavyweights ever. We wont see the like of him again in our lifetimes.

Haven’t paid note of it before but the way he kept his lead foot to the outside was top notch. Dude is the complete package.

Complete package is an understatement... Completest package.... if you know you know.

Lead foot outside is just the tip of the iceberg for him. (also check out Manny Pacquiao's well roundedness in this regard. Floyd who?)

he can do lead foot inside, lead foot outside.

he can box, he can punch, he can counter and he can fight.

he can go 1st, he can go 2nd. 1st and 2nd, 1st and 3rd. you name it... he can do singles, he can do combos

he can dance around the ring and he can take the center

he can do it all and do it all to a high level.

We are really privileged and should just enjoy the show

This. Many cruiserweights try heavy and fail. It's very very rare for a unified Cruiser champ to achieve the same at heavyweight level. Hollyfield and Usyk are the only two. It's a once in a generation occurrence. Usyk is just an incredible boxer.

there is only one other that gets close... Evander Holyfield...

Usyk has a much better amateur record of course, and the olympic gold is not given the credit it deserves in the Pro world (at least, with american audiences).

Same goes for one Vasyl Lomachenko. Here we should be greatful that we get 2 greats in our generation. In my opinion the greatest fighter of his size in this generation... everyone else from featherweight to welterweight not named Manny Pacquiao are just hype jobs.

on that note

for your viewing pleasure and edutainment

Also.... as Usyk said... Ivan is not new

My name is IVAN!

Paul's promoting is on another level and he got on Netflix again

Never seen this little dude before but he looks like a pitbull after watching that vid
