JUST WONDERING HOW FAR HAS BPL ADVANCED IN S.A.DOES ANYBODY KNOW HOW IT WORKS ETC.REASON BEING I AM KEEN TO GET INTO BPL AND ALSO MAKE A BUSSINESS OFF IT .HEARD ITS VERY SUCCESSFULL AND ADVANCED I THE STATES AND FAR EAST LOOKING FOR SUMONE TO PARTNER WITH .I HAVE A CONTACT IN KOREA WHO IS WILLING AND READY TO SUPPLY ALL THE INFRASTRUCTURE.

HI. ITS GENERALLY CONSIDERED GOOD ETIQUETTE TO TURN THE CAPS LOCK FUNCTON OFF WHEN TYPING, AS IT'S CONSIDERED AS SHOUTING. SPACES BETWEEN SENTENCES IS ALSO A GOOD IDEA.

Hi, it is possible, but as the new member is from a local IP and did not post any dodgy links Antowan and I gave him/her the benefit of the doubt for the moment. :)

What is BPL? Broadband Over Powerlines? :confused:

Thanks for the explanation...I have no idea what BPL is, and it will be interesting to see if he/she posts any more than this in the future...

firstly sorry about the caps lock .
furthermore i am very serious about my first post .i do have a sample kit for one installation so am prepared to meet with anybody to show the stuff .kit has 2 repeaters 1 inductive coupler and some other goodies. i am not a technical person that is why i will have to partner with someone as i am more a finance person .

I saw one website about BPL in SA and, tbh, it looked a little scammy. The service hasn't launched yet but "please sign up (read: pay) now to reserve your spot":erm:

Also, they wouldn't say by how much my electricity consumption would go up so... meh
