I happened to have been through the whole thing about a year ago, and was quoted about R5.5K. A friend of mine with the same model Mercedes was quoted R4.4k at his dealership. :D

I usually change the pad just before the sensor goes. The sensor price is 1/3rd the pad price. also some pads wear unevenly about a month after the sensor goes. so it screws up the disk as well. gotta watch out for that.

Ok good enough, I assume you meant BMW there as we are not talking about Mercedes.
