Everybody agrees that 2nd Brazil goal was suppose to be disallowed, I mean the referee ask Fabiono if he did. WTF!!! You need a player to assert what you saw?

But with Ka-ka's send off your alone in this thread

That's why I mentioned monitoring, fair for both sides.
Next time comment after you know the facts, watch the replay and learn from your mistake.
Anyway what's done is done, it's part of the game for now - looking forward to supporting the Black Stars.

So the stats for the game look something like this:

Scorer: Fabiano
Assist: Fabiano's left arm, Fabiano's right arm
 
I still can't believe after Henry's ball handling, that Fifa has not put something in place for such events.
Even if it's not a live tv ref, but after the game suspensions should be handed out to players who take dives & handle balls.
 
The standard of refereeing has been a disgrace.

A goal from a double handball and then the sending off of ***a are just some of the numerous examples so far.

As to the Ivory Coast. Well that dive was pathetic. I would be ashamed to call myself a man if I ever did something like that especially when you know it's going to be captured on TV and shown to the world for years to come. A lot of players just completely lack any sense of honour.
 
Ka Ka's send-off was awesome. After Brazil was diving all night, CIV decided to do the same and rid themselves of that buffoon. Was hilarious ... Ka Ka knew he'd been owned.
 
One of the things I've always found interesting is that players from the world's powerful and successful countries. Tend not to dive. You don't see the Americans or Germans diving very often.

Yet countries that tend to be economic basketcases have a culture of it. Italy and Spain being the perfect examples. I think its a mentality of the people of those nations and goes a long way to explaining why they struggle in economic terms.
To a german honour is important in life. Whether it be on the football field or in business. Cheating is severely frowned upon.
Look at France, again an ecomonic power. The harshest criticism of Thierry Henry's handball goal came from his fellow citizens with one of the country's own national newspapers saying the side should give up their position at the world cup given how it was earned.

On the other side of the ledger you have for instance Argentina where Maradonas "hand of god" goal is celebrated. Argentina of course is another basketcase of a country.

Just my observations.
 
BRAZIL !!!! but I have to agree that 2nd goal was a NO NO. The diving by the players in the game was bad. Man how can they believe that it looks real. Well the ref agreed with them. All that matters is that Brazil has gone to the next round of 16.
 
You don't see the germans diving?

OMG they started the whole thing, klinsman was the biggest penalty diver the world has seen. Germans started the trend and are disgusting divers.

Most powerful and successful????? Germany dived like it was out of fashion against Serbia, England - lets not go there.

THe only team I've seen that gets on with it is South Korea...
