Bread substitute

I got a recipe on youtube that I followed. Loved it, apparently we have a smaller pan that I can use. So I'll try tomorrow. Electricity going off in a bit.
I know I said it's not a weightless thread but be careful of too much peanut butter. Nuts are nutrient dense, they pack a lot in their size but it's offset by the fat which makes you satiated. Altering that combo too much, takes you down the same road as fruit juice vs fruit.

You going try as hard as possible to make a bread substitute but it won't work. Bread tastes that way because of its ingredients. Rather substitute it completely with something else. For Burgers use those huge mushrooms as roll for example.

Pb bread was quite nice. I'll try it again this afternoon.

Actually you are right and wrong. I like it not as a bread substitute for taste but as a substitute for versatility ie: sandwhiches, toast etc. Makes quick meals very easy.

Mushroom burgers are awesome!

So I decided to try the peanut butter loaf recipe, much thanks.

Only did the single ingredients list to see if we like it. Made two 'buns'.

Here's my attempt.

Will be used for the pulled pork in the slow cooker along with coleslaw that was made with home made mayo (also my first attempt at mayo)

The "dough" is very fluid, that's why I would suggest a silicone round mould for buns. Some folks use cups to hold the shape.

Muffin pans are also great, each Muffin one side of a bun as it doesn't rise so much.
