Bread substitute

@PoppieChoffel how heavy is that chicken crust pizza you made last night?

I rolled it out quite thin, so wasn't too heavy. Damn filling, but very yummy! Just try and get it down to a half cm thickness at most if you do it. Any thicker and your toppings are kinda lost, I feel.

That mix I made last night was 500g chicken mince, a cup of mozzarella and a cup of parmesan, with some mixed herbs. Turned out great!

So, on doctors orders I decided to change my diet end of last year. Just smaller portions, and I cut out bread. So I lost quite a few kg's and in order to keep it off I now need to keep this up.

I also love burgers, rolls and all manner of other bread. What can I use as a substitute?

As an example I have not had pizza in two months, base is bread. What can I use as a substitute?
These days I make my own gluten free bread...

This looks amazing... did you measure out the peanut butter? Mind confirming the quantities and size of your tin?
Small tin, just used 6 table spoons. Didn't measure anything.

You will eventually get gatvol of the peanut butter. There is simply no substitute for bread. Rather see it as stuff to replace bread with, a complete new taste and diet. Don't try to get something that taste like bread.

You can make flaxseed bread. Almond bread. Peanut butter bread. Coconut, Cauliflower, egg etc...

But all those stuff have a very distinctive taste and after taste. Eventually you will get really tired of it if you eat it daily.

Yes

Anyone making this should be using sugar-free peanut butter by default - the whole concept behind this bread is to be a low carb substitute.

Normal PB should not have a high sugar load unless its sweetened, check your nutri info on the bottle but yes this is a banting/keto recipe.

Its also spread over a loaf so depends on how you eat it. I find two normal slices are filling, and that plate I showed earlier was plenty, I actually feel quite stuffed after a PB sandwhich.

You can't eat too much off it. Kids didn't even want dinner and they each had only two slices. The little remaining I'll take to work tomorrow. Should last me most of the day.

If I eat that I won't need take aways as ill be too full.
