Bread substitute

Not as treatment, I just think it's BS that bread could be the cause of my asthma so I'm introducing bread again slowly to see if the asthma returns, if it doesn't then I'm fine. Not eating store breads as that's what made me sick originally. I try now to only eat bread where I know what went in it.

If it turns out that I have a gluten type allergy then this strategy might blow up in my face and I end up in hospital again, hoping that that won't happen though.

Just make your own sourdough bread. Let it rise and then keep it in the fridge for 4 days before backing and it will be packed with vitamins and devoid of allergens.

Homeopathic. like treats like.

Have you had a homeopathic strawberry milkshake? It's delicious!

I could never do the 4 day thing, not with my schedule. And sour dough bread can get expensive. I might try it one day though, may be crazy when I take holiday with the kids in a few weeks and try it.

That's the beauty of this method, it's extremely easy to fit into any schedule.
Mix the dough (no kneading necessary) and let it rise for 2 hours. Then you can keep it in the fridge for up to 14 days.
All you have to do is preheat the oven and pop it in whenever you have time.

Have you got a recipe?

680gr Lukewarm Water
10gr Instant Yeast
910gr Flour
19gr Salt

You only have to mix the ingredients (I use a wooden spoon) until there are no "dry spots" of flour, no kneading necessary.

Let rise for +/- 2 hours or until it begins to collapse and refrigerate for up to 14 days.
If you bake it the same day it will taste very plain like normal shop bread, I find that the flavour develops around day 4 and gets better from there.

On baking day, dust with a bit of flour, make it into a ball and put it on baking paper.

Dust the top with flour and use a serrated or very sharp knife/razorblade to slash whatever pattern you want into it.

And into the oven at 235 degrees for 30-45 minutes (depends on size of loaf).
To get a thin crispy crust you can pour a cup of boiling water into a tray at the bottom of your oven.

I eat 8 slices of Albany Superior White Bread every day and I'm fine  Why can't you guys eat store bread anymore? Didn't you have store bread on your sandwiches going to school? What happened?

Pussies. That's why. Didn't play in the dirt when young. Didn't mow the lawn. Grew up to be spineless with a bread alergy.

I think they did play in the dirt. Which is why they prefer eating real food and not some refined & processed kak.

If you have a problem with regular bread, try buying your own wheat and grind it yourself, it is something like 80% more healthy when done this way.

Some people who usually can't eat (or think they can't) regular bread do just fine on self-ground flour bread because you use the whole kernel (and not just the white flour) and don't throw out the healthy brown bits.

Well..... then they played in clean dirt and didn't build a decent imune system. Swak.

Lol your immune system doesn't defend against a kak diet. Do you give your car the cheapest kak oil from the R5 store? Presumably you try take care of the things you own and pay attention to how you do it. Yet someone does it with their body and they get laughed at? Eish.

I feed my Bantam the cheapest oil possible. Haven't seen oil at the R5 store. All this healthy this / that is pure bullschit. A marketing scam. My imune system and body is like a monstermuncher.

Not talking about marketing. Just whole foods vs refined. But ok, if you don't think your body is a biological machine that functions better or worse depending in the input...fine. Also...if other people have a system that responds differently - no need to troll their threads?
