Break up advice

You guys suck at advice!

Just invite her over as you plan but dont still serve her dinner. Tell her how you feel etc. I'd be pretty pissed if you faked being all nice and enjoying my company during dinner while planning how to exactly tell her "i'm just not that into you"

Be straight about it.
 
Put yourself in her shoes, would you not rather hear the truth than some bull dust story. Man up tell the truth and get it over with.

Meet up with her, rub your thumbs together and say "Bads".

when she arrives tell her you need to speak about the relationship. dont wait till after the dinner- that can happen in "lets be friends" time. ask her questions on the relationship and ask her if she thinks its working. you noticed that you are drifting apart and was wondering how she was feeling about it and where you should go from here. ask her if she really sees you guys spending the rest of your lives together because you've spent a long time thinking about it and dont know if you do. We just seem to want different things out of life eg ..... ..... .... and ..... etc
 
Some advice: don't have a nice dinner and then boot her after dessert. That's just nasty. Don't have the dinner if you're planning on breaking up with her the same night - just call her over to chat. Get it over and done with and then you can eat for two afterwards...
 
Don't make her come over just to be broken up with, rather go to her.

Yeah - this is what i was going to say.
Firstly, she is going to be crying - you don't want her driving home in that state, it isn't safe for her (or others on the road).
Secondly, you can then control when the evening is over - once the talk is done you can up and leave as opposed to trying to politely kick her out.
 
Well I did it, after supper. I was honest with her, tried to put it in a nice way. Can barely remember what I said. She didnt say much and left almost immediately. She did ask how long I've been feeling like this, I said a few weeks and said I wanted to wait to make sure, to see if my feelings would change.

Nothing makes you feel worse than breaking up with someone who hasnt cheated on you or treated you badly at all. I feel like a kitten murderer.
