Can always get implants if you don't like the reduction . Just kidding.

She's pretty set on having the operation done though, it's something she says she's considered since high school, she's 28 now.

I think as much as it's about the physical problems it causes it's also a confidence thing, as she's very self-conscious about it.

I know the GF's grief my wife also had the same issue not my issue but her issues:whistling: but i convinced her to try gym before surgery and a few years later its a win win for both of us.....From a GG to i think F note sure :D

OP, how in shape is your girlfriend?

She's not in bad shape but exercises like running is really unpleasant for her thus getting fit is quite a challenge.

I appreciate the inputs from everybody (well not everybody) but she's made up her mind and I'm happy to support her in whatever direction she chooses to go.

So going back to my original post, if anybody can recommend a reputable practitioner, please send me pm or leave a comment.

Just wanted to share my two cents here as someone who has been through the surgery. I was also self conscious of my breasts since high school and always wanted a reduction. No amount of diet or excercise reduced them. My problem was that I was scared of surgery so I lived with them. I was diagnosed with breast cancer nearly two years ago at age 42 and was told I needed a left side mastectomy. There was no way I was living with no breast on one side and an "E" cup on the other - HAVE to have surgery anyway, so I opted for a reduction and lift to the right. I now have one beautiful "C" cup breast!!! The doctors WILL tell you the side effects - I was told the possibilities of losing my nipple were almost 100% as I am a smoker - nothing happened. With regards to breast feeding - a friend had the reduction before kids and managed to breastfeed. For those that say breast is best when it comes to infants - sorry, but I CHOSE not to breast feed both my kids from the word go and they are healthy teenagers now - never been sick kids - so, hopefully that can give you some answers there. Good luck and tell her it's the best thing ever!!!
