Wireless Bridging with D-Link DSL2640U

I've been bashing my head on this one with no luck for most of the evening and hope someone can be of assistance.

I've got a wired ADSL Router wired to a separate Wireless AP (Surecom ep-9610sx-g) for my laptop and smartphone. I've got a D-Link DSL-2640U which I want to run Wireless Bridged with the Surecom to give access to other PCs in a different room.

I've done what the manual says but I still can't get it to work. Either my googling skills suck of no-one has posted a detailed article on how to configure the D-Link DSL2640U in Bridged mode.

ADSL Router = 192.168.1.1:255.255.255.0, DHCP
Wireless AP = 192.168.1.2:255.255.255.0, No-DHCP, B & G, WEP, Open, 64b, no SSID broadcast
D-Link = 192.168.1.3:255.255.255.0, No-DHCP

Can someone assist before I pull out all my hair?

Tx

So basically these DLinks only bridge with each other and not with other devices. So much for its support for WDS.

I ended up getting another unit and spent about a week sukkeling to get it running with the assistance of the local DLink support guys.

Under "Wireless Bridge" section, change the AP Mode to Wireless Bridge - works fine with my Linksys in WDS

I tried but it did not work. This is what I got from DLINK support

"You are only able to use this wireless bridge mode in conjunction with another DSL-2640U so it will not work with you Surecom Access Point. Sorry for the inconvenience"
