Hi Kalale,
Thanks for the feedback, what you dont indicate is what is your current form of connectivity ? Telkom ? already running VoIP ?
The most critical issue on any primary outbound call centre is the implementation of pure per/second billing, this will lead to huge savings as outbound centres can generate a high volumes of sub 1min calls. Eample; an agent hits a cell voicemail, Telkom cost R1.48, related VoiP cost a few cents, for the same call !
Many VoIP solutions are available and i would strongly recomend one that can implement ViBE ( voice over IP broadband enhancement) The benifits are twofold in a call centre enviroment.
1/ The abillity to carry your traffic on a single DSL ( 28 calls, requires 256kb/s uoload)
2/ The abillity to agregate multiple ports (ie DSL & wireless) into a single 'trunk' which on falilier of your primary connection, say the DSL will instigate 'seamless failover' so you dont even drop live calls, im sure this is importent to you.
The other concideration is do you want an onsite server or opt for a hassel free hosted solution ? In your application there are pros & cons to both and really depends on the functionallity you require, management, CRM implementation, 3rd party software intergration, MS outlook, Server 2003 ect,
I will gladly advise and expand on any of these services and who is offering them.
Ps. ( edit after post) It looks as though while posting this message, George jumped in and echoed what i was saying
