f**king hell he is saying everything that is wrong with this team

should have never been sacked in the first place

heynecke will be showed up by the all blacks and ozzies

We gonna get slaughtered. Or rather we wont win any of our matches against Aus or NZ, home ground wont count.

Something very wrong with that team.....not playing well together.

Maybe it's cos the other players know Heyneke favours Bulls players?

How could Pat Lambie sit on the bench and Zane Kirschner is playing a crap game? Would rather play Gio Aplon, he gives 150%.

:erm: Did you watch the game? Sadly Kirschner ws one of the best players on the field....

Other than that which bulls player would you have dropped?

Etzebeth was for me ZK was a window dressing player. I would have dropped MS as well. The Boks are playing HM kick-the-ball-in-the-air rugby.

God how I wish we play a proper structure game.

But you could see the school principle had some influence on the Los Pumas, the way the drive over the ball as team.

I also think that SARU must bring Mallet in in some type of advisory capacity.

He has so much experience that is being wasted on Supersport.

Meyer is to arrogant to listen to anyone else.
This was a k@k game and we are going to a @ss whipping down under if things don't change drastically.

This is terrible, but I somehow had a feeling we would be the first to lose to the Puma's out of the big 3. Sure we didn't lose, but we were supposed to cream them by at least 15 points if you look at IRB standings and past history.

The fact is that New Zealand destroyed Australia the way we should have destroyed Argentina. New Zealand will never lose to Argentina and I highly doubt we will beat the All Blacks either.

Best we can hope for is a lucky win over the Aussies or that the Puma's somehow draw with the Aussies so we can all compete for second place >.<

HM arrogance will be his downfall. I think we need fresh tactics and game plan. we have the most talent in the world, yet people like HM comes worth his k@k style rugby and destroy players dreams. Mallett has got a rugby brain and knows the strenghs and weaknesses in our rugby. can SARU just release HM from his contract before we go further behind in the world and getting embaressed. the all blacks are going to whip our asses and show us how to play rugby.

I see a BULLS vs everyone else thread developing...

HM is not making many converts, granted, but I'd like to have a good look at other coaches' track records before any commitment from myself on this trend.

EDIT: On Nick, did he quit or did he walk? I can't recall...

Was fired if memory serves me correct. For petty reasons as well, something to do with complaining about Tri-Nations tickets or similar; well at least that was the official reason.

The Puma's punished the Boks under the high ball, and the AB's will better than the Pumas. Deep kickoffs like they tried on the Pumas will be punished by Dagg.

Just my 2 cents on HM.

If you guys recall when he was appointed, he stated that he wants to win every game, nevermind the type of rugby that we play.

Now I reckon he is feeling the pressure big time (just look at him screaming into that walkie talkie) and because of that he is reverting to a super conservative style of play. So instead of concentrating on our own game plan, he is focusing on defending against the oppositions'.

HM is employing a style of play that brought him lots of success with the Bulls but unfortunately for him it is outdated and only serves to play into the hands of the opposition. I can only imagine the horror if we employ this game plan against the AB's.

But Heyneke didn't win all those Super rugby titles for nothing. He clearly just needs to calm down and rethink the team's strategies.

I for one think we're missing the likes of Brussouw sorely, we are getting mauled at the breakdown (see what I did there). Sort out the breakdowns and stop all the aimless kicking and I reckon we'll always be competitive. IMHO of course.

I really think you guys are overreacting so much. Seriously, give HM some time. He's been the Coach for how long now? We havn't yet lost, however that doesn't mean we won't. This is a NEW team, you need to remember that. New Captain and plenty of new players. The All Blacks still have all of their veterans and have newcomers. People need to lay off him until he's had at least a year to get settled. Our team already has more flair than the team under PDV.

I think that is why he included Louw. Against the likes of Pocock and McCaw if he is to start in the no 6 slot, we need either a very mobile loose trio that play towards the ball or we need a dedicated fetcher.

I think Vermeulen at 8, Alberts (for the love of all that is holy) in the no. 7 slot, and then Louw / Coetzee / Brussouw (when he recovers) in the no 6 jersey.

But seriously people need to relax. HM has been there for all of 5 games, with a very long injury list, a very long retirement list and very pathetic support from some south africans.

its not so much the players thats the problem, but the gameplan is the issue here. you can have the best players, but if you play k@k style of rugby with k@k tactics then you will never win games.

I totally agree, Heyneke should be given some slack. I think what everyone is disappointed about, and as previously mentioned, is the current game plan.

Heyneke will get it right, it might just take longer than we all expected.

Should we adopt the stormers game plan StevieG?

+100. I think the public expected Meyer to walk in and have a team from the word go that would rack up 100 points against even the All Blacks.

He has one of the least experienced teams in the history of SA, AND he has an injury list so long it can be used to dry the tears of all the WP supports :p

If by next year's end of the year tour he has not improved the general play and tactics, sure give him all hell.
