Brink IS and MWEB Servers.

Hi

Is anybody else having issues connecting to the IS or MWEB Brink servers?

Was playing fine on the IS one, Friday night, but since then I can't see either of them in the game server list anymore. I can see them fine with the Steam server viewer, but I can't connect or direct connect to either.

In the end, I just opened up a server Freakboy and I were tooling around on....and guess what...it seems people still want to play. So, to anybody out there that joined "Pappa wag vir jou" last night, even though the lag got horrendous at times, thanks guys, much appreciated =]

Also, anbody that was still on when my screensaver nuked the server round 20:30...sorry about that...

Anyway, any IS or MWEB official server type people out there who can provide any feedback?

I had the same thing.. I dont think they are online/accessible anymore.. On gametracker.com i see the mweb ones and they showonline so not sure why we cant play on them.

Either way I have pre-orderd 2 servers, so im just waiting for them to become available in South Africa and will have them up :-)

If anyone wants to help they can email gameservers.com asking for South Africa Brink servers. Because they provide to the countries with highest demand first.

PS, Thanks for the server.. played on it last night. Tw!tCh was my gamer nic :p

Assuming there aren't any "proper" servers Tuesday night or Wednesday (thank the ANC for more Brink time), I'll more than likely put it up again. Just need to figure out how to get more than 10 people in game, without everything going to hell :(

Heh he, on Friday, my one mate thought I got a pirate version to work or something. He only knew about the BT launch date as well. Needless to say, he went and got it off Steam that very night.
 
Good news....seems like both IS and MWEB are updating their servers.

Could browse and connect to IS and MWEB Cpt. (Though lat to MWEB Cpt was 300 :( )

At first I was like :D then I was like :( @ latency but im still like :) because we can atleast play something with more than 6 players

Nah, the IS one was fine. I probably just hit the Cpt one at a bad time. (Was also doing uvver stuff on the line at the time. Working from home has it's perks =] )
 
Gotta wait till Friday here, ugh. Glad there is some local interest for the game, though :)
 
Yeah Friday for me to. How I wish for DSL now, I would have gotten it from Steam along time ago, Oh well...... :cry:

I have heard as much myself, but I have also heard hosting more than 6 players on a 10meg line is a waste of time.. lag and glitching/teleporting and such.

Imma stick to mah legit servers :p
