Crysis 2 wasn't bad at all for me, although it does make a bit of a difference if you play it on console or on pc, and I'd have to agree with u on homefront there.
Brink is looking very good in my opinion, i can't wait for it :)
 
reviews are starting to pop up for Brink not looking that great...

Can't believe IGN rate it that poorly though geez.
 
Gamesradar gave it an 8/10... Generally their reviews are spot on with my own opinions so I trust them. Will watch as many youtube videos of gameplay that I can find and then decide if i want to buy it.
 
It's made by rockstar, it has some new animation and lighting technology and apparently the facial expressions are perfect. You're a cop rising through the ranks from street cop to traffic to vice... you have to think to solve the crimes and apparently it gets quite dark. Sounds like a winner, and come on when has rockstar ever disappointed.
 
20th of this month according to BT site maybe earlier on take2 and kalahari sometimes a few days earlier

Have you ever watched - or even better, read - LA Confidential? If not, do so *now*, or any other of James Ellroy's books / movie adaptation. And then you'll maybe see why people are excited for this, on top of it being a Rockstar game. This has got to be one of the games I've looked forward to the most ever, along with ME2 & 3, & DNF :)
 
Reviews of it have been less than awesome, Witcher 2 is coming earlier than this game here lol!
 
Prepare for teh bugs and patches people.. ArsTechnica was less that kind about it, so much so they decided not to review it, but rather tell you why you should wait a month or two before buying it. They do say its pretty epic and will be great after patching, and thats why i pre-ordered anyway :-D..

If only there where more of these PC reviews like that one, I'm afraid these Console reviews have scared alot of the PC players away :(

Oh well hopefully more of them will pop up and change people's minds, cya in Brink Shebam :)

Yeah thats why I like ArsTechnica so much for alot of my gaming and tech news. They are very objective and don't waffle about. They give you the facts and investigate everything. Unfortunatly what with everything being made for console these days, reviewers will go for the "popular" version for review. Turns out it was crap lol. Hooray for PC :p

Well I have been playing it and its a hell of a lot of fun.. A different gameplay style from my staple of Black Ops but its really a very good game. GFX are excellent, runs well on my SLI GTX460's but with no SLI still runs fine on max, bots are a little dumb in the single player but thats to be expected. Otherwise it seems stable and no noticable bugs YAY!!!
 
I think the real test and deal breaker here for me is this; 1. Are there dedicated ZA servers for Multiplayer? 2. How big are the maps?
