So, I have decided to have a winter festival of hot british desserts this year.
Started off last night with bread & butter pudding.
Sago pudding for tonight.

2 of my favs. Bread & butter pudding is nice... crisp outside with sweet jam inside... and rasins. And as someone else said... rice pud.
Eton mess on the list?

Not sure who told you that Sago was a traditional British pudding?

Rice pud must be high on the list. With Eton mess and spotted dick. There are a few others will try remember them

Sticky toffee pudding is one of my favourites, although we just get it from Woolies. :o

Bread & butter pudding is also a nice warm winter dessert & quite east to make. Again with the custard :).

not sure either master, but I make it the british way (eggs):
In the UK, "sago pudding" is generally made by boiling pearl sago and sugar in milk until the sago pearls become clear, and thickening it with eggs or cornflour. Depending on the proportions used it can range from a runny consistency to fairly thick, and can be similar to tapioca pudding or rice pudding.
