Must admit I am a huge War of the Worlds fan
Used to love listening the Jeff Wayne musical version as a kid.

Although the movie with Tom Cruise had many faults, the sound of those horns when the "aliens" first invade is still one of my most favourite scenes in a movie.

So I'm super keen to see this take on the story. And since it is BBC 1 I have faith :)

I use Getflix DNS settings in my router at home, and for the $5 monthly sub you also get a free VPN which I use on my phone and laptop when out and about. Works perfect with the UK channels which we watch pretty much exclusively in our house.

Which UK channels are free to air?

There are quite a few. BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5, UK Play are the top ones.

Channel 4 for example has an enormous back catalogue of its own and many international shows. It’s probably my favourite, although ITV is great for British detective shows like Foyle’s War and A Touch of Frost. BBC is mostly catch up of current shows which they hold for 30 days after they screen on air.

Tks Spizz. BBC's my absolute favourite (with VPN). Will give the others a try.
