No it's actually a good adaptation; better than the movie I reckon. Douglas Adams oversaw it I think. I remember he was particularly proud of the fake head for Zaphod Beeblebrox.

Season 2 (3 episodes in) -> 10/10.

Might watch the US version to see how they screw it up but this is a must watch,
