Cold Feet - Exclusive first look image

It’s been over ten years since we last caught up with the lives of Adam, Pete, Jenny, Karen and David.

Thirty-three episodes and five series later our favourite couples have earned themselves a place in television history and are now reunited together when Adam returns to Manchester having been abroad with work.

Creator Mike Bullen said: “This feels like the right time to revisit these characters, as they tip-toe through the minefield of middle age!”

But Helen Baxendale has revealed she rejected the opportunity to return as Rachel Bradley in the upcoming reboot of Cold Feet as it 'didn't feel right'.

Her character was killed in a car crash in the show's fifth series, but despite the finality of the event, the show's writer, Mike Bullen, did include Rachel in his draft script.

The 45-year-old actress told The Daily Telegraph: 'I was really touched he’d written Rachel into it, but I felt it wasn’t right for me, Rachel or the new series to start up again like that.

'What was great about Cold Feet is that although it flew off down all different avenues, it was really based on believing the reality of the characters.

While the hype around the return of the show continues to grow, Baxendale said she felt no jealousy towards her former co-stars.

'Fourteen years have passed and I don’t feel wedded to the character of Rachel any more,' she explained. 'I have lots of other nice things going on.'

I use Getflix dns setting in my router and have the apps on my Now TV and Amazon fire stick, but there's an app for a Samsung TV too iirc and no doubt some other smart TV's.

But of course, there is always directly from channel4.com/on-demand on your pc if you can get round the regional thing.

Adverts at the beginning - are there more during the episode ?

Will test on Mac and airplay tonight , if it works it's a winner.

Normally you get a couple of ads at the beginning and middle of the newer shows but on the old shows there are generally none. Having said that, a couple of weeks ago I watched a weeks worth of Come Dine With Me in an evening (I know but the guy is funny) and there were no ads at all.

:D That's why I use Crystal Web. They prioritise streaming and gaming.
