British series, mini-series and dramas .....

Some shows to look out for in 2026.

How to Get to Heaven from Belfast

Maya

The Blame

Half Man

The Rapture

Wanna leave this series for later down the line when i have nothing left to watch. The previous one Lazarus ends on a terrible cliffhanger instead of wrapping up a story that has no reason to linger beyond limited series status. The spark is missing. It's a dour drama with a touch of the supernatural, and getting through all six episodes is a slog.

Disclaimer

The overacting by Sacha Baron Cohen and Cate Blanchett at the start of the series was very off-putting. I don't understand the reason for this, as their acting was fine after those few episodes. It's a great story, slightly marred by a flawed execution. The narration throughout is totally unnecessary. 7/10

Not sure what it is about Mad Dogs, but every few years I re-watch it for some reason. Maybe as some of it was filmed in SA. Just a pity it has one of the worst ending ever though :cautious:

Mad Dogs UK (not the rubbish American one).
Re-watching this yet again.
One of my most favourite shows ever. Each time I find new things to like about it. Luckily it is short.

S1 to S03 = 4 episodes each.
S04 = 2 episodes
