who cares, what is it with these third world countries and "pay as you use"? This is completely against what broadband is suppose to be. Things like this make me want to move back to civilisation.

Well if its like R5 per Gig I wouldnt really mind, but then again i doubt it that thats the case.

yah so i was watching tv last night and saw the mtn ad showing this guy use his mtn 3G.. R100/100MB ~ R1/MB and this is the alternative to adsl ? com'on.. seems cell operators are perhaps thinking of little usages for 3G like ringtones/phone stuff and small files.. BUT why show a laptop can anyone survive on 100MB as internet access ?

This is what you get when a broadband company is run by bloody salesmen.

According to the article, you get 500Mb "free" with the one year package which is a 256kbit/s connection.

In2Cable is an ISP with a National license in India.

What it does point out is that the connection fees - so called "access" fees that Telkom charge are way out of line with reality.
